In addition, many of our clients have battled cancer, arthritis, paralysis, stroke, scoliosis, fused disks, osteoporosis, and obesity, while others are post-rehab from shoulder, knee, or hip injuries. How Personal Trainers Help

Personal trainers meet with you either one-on-one (Individual Training) or with a partner (Duos Training) at your convenience to work on your specific goals.

  • They guide you or your group through an appropriate and effective exercise program.
  • Training programs include cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and balance training.
  • Personal Trainers use a variety of equipment with each workout, including weight machines, free weights, stability balls, medicine balls, agility ladders, foam rollers, kettlebells, and TRX.
  • They coach, motivate, and hold you accountable.
  • They track your progress with functional and fitness assessments including body composition.

Personal Trainer Qualifications

  • Personal Trainers hold degrees in the field and/or certification(s) through a nationally accredited organization (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA).
  • They receive ongoing training and education.
  • They use appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure safe and effective exercise programs.
  • They are CPR/AED certified
